Bolton Social Care and Care-Tech Founder Named Finalist in Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2026
Bolton-based Pauline Vuyelwa Muswere-Enagbonma, Group Chief Executive of the Jessamy ecosystem and Founder of JessamyCareOne, has been named a finalist in the North West region of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2026 in the Randal Foundation Award category.
The Randal Foundation Award recognises businesses making a significant contribution to saving lives, improving life chances or strengthening communities.
This recognition celebrates entrepreneurs whose work improves lives, strengthens communities and creates meaningful social impact. Pauline has been shortlisted for building an integrated social care, workforce and care-technology ecosystem through Jessamy Platinum Holdings Limited, creating practical, ethical systems that improve coordination, accountability and dignity across care delivery throughout the UK.
Pauline’s leadership is shaped by lived experience and personal loss. Following the death of her infant daughter, Jessamy, in 2020, she channelled grief into a mission to build services that protect dignity, strengthen accountability and place humanity at the centre of care.
Today, Pauline leads the Jessamy ecosystem under Jessamy Platinum Holdings Limited, a group of complementary ventures spanning staffing, regulated care, supported accommodation, children’s services, community transport, professional training and care technology, including Jessamy Staffing Solutions. JessamyCareOne forms part of this wider vision for safer and more accountable care. The platform is being developed to support governance, compliance, communication and continuity across care settings, reflecting Pauline’s belief that technology should not replace human care but strengthen the systems that allow good care to happen consistently and transparently.
Speaking on the finalist achievement, Pauline said:
“I am deeply honoured to be named a finalist for the Randal Foundation Award at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. For me, entrepreneurship has never been about building for applause. It has been about building systems that protect people, restore dignity and create better life chances for those too often overlooked.
This recognition belongs to the Jessamy team and to every child, adult, family, professional and community whose experiences remind us that care must be more than a service. It must be humane, accountable, innovative and rooted in love.
I hope this recognition shines a light on the extraordinary work taking place across social care and reminds people that entrepreneurship can be a force for public good when led with integrity, courage and responsibility.”
Frankie James, founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, also said:
“When we launched the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in 2012, we set out to back the businesses that get on and build, the ones that don’t always get the recognition they deserve. More than a decade on, over 5,000 applications tell me we were onto something. This year’s cohort represents billions in turnover and tens of thousands of jobs, but what I’m proudest of is the determination behind those numbers. These are founders who have stuck with it through every kind of year, and championing them is exactly why we do this.”
The Great British Entrepreneur Awards are proudly supported by Allica Bank.
Conrad Ford, Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Allica, added:
“What stands out this year is the optimism and ambition that continue to define the UK’s established business community. Having run my own business, I know the resilience, creativity and sheer determination it takes to build something that lasts, especially in challenging times.
“Established businesses are the real economy, making up a third of the UK’s GDP and employment, and represented in every town across the country. At Allica, we’re proud to support and celebrate their contribution through the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.”
Often referred to as the ‘Grammys of Entrepreneurship’, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards celebrate the UK’s most exceptional entrepreneurs and business leaders, with winners announced at a black-tie awards ceremony on Monday 16 November 2026 at The Great Room, Grosvenor House, London, attended by more than 1,500 guests from across the UK’s entrepreneurial community.
