Runwood Homes Tackle Southend 10k Run And Raise Funds For Charity

A group of ten dedicated individuals at Runwood Homes came together to participate in the Southend 10k race on the 1st of October.

Starting from Southchurch Park East, the Southend 10k is a local event, known for taking participants through scenic routes along the Southend seafront. The team had been training over the past few months and were ready to take on this exhilarating challenge.

After crossing the finish line, the team invited friends and family to join them for some much-needed refreshments.

The group were on a mission to raise funds for two remarkable charities; Havens and the British Lung Foundation. These organisations hold a special significance to the team, and they were committed to making a meaningful contribution to the causes.

Overall, the team managed to raise £485 for the charities.
