Hat-trick of Recognition for Health and Social Care Provider
A leading health and social care provider has been recognised as one of the UK’s best places to work for the third year in a row. The hat-trick was achieved by ivolve Care and Support, which has been named in the prestigious Sunday Times Best Places to Work list for the third time.
Adding to the organisation’s achievement, this year it has further been awarded the List’s ‘Industry Award’ in the category of ‘Very Big Organisations in Health and Social Care’, cementing its position as one of the sector’s most stable and rewarding employers. The Industry Awards recognise the highest‑scoring workplaces across major UK business sectors including health and social care, finance and building and construction.
ivolve has its base in Chesterfield and operates 185 nursing, residential and supported living services across the UK. It has a team of more than 4,000 colleagues and supports more than 1,150 people with complex needs including learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. In feedback, ivolve was described as ‘the standout winner among Very Big companies in this grouping, as proven by the high engagement scores derived from the colleagues survey. The feedback continued; ‘such colleagues engagement levels are even more impressive in an industry often known for high turnover and burnout.’
Tim Davies, Chief Executive Officer at ivolve, said: “I’m really proud of how our colleagues feel about their work and we’re delighted with this recognition – but it’s bigger than that. This is our chance to celebrate the expertise and commitment of caring professionals and what our sector does for society.
“Human skills will become more valuable as technology changes the landscape of work. People in care have these skills in abundance and will stand out. Personal experiences and human connections – which technology cannot replicate – will gain significant value.
“Our people grow rewarding careers, develop qualifications and skills. They value job security, a feeling of belonging and flexibility. We’re already attracting people from lots of other sectors, as well as growing our own talent to senior roles. There is a wealth of experience combined with some fantastic talent coming into care and that makes us incredibly excited for the future.
“Consistent inclusion in an independently evaluated list such as The Sunday Times Best Places to Work is a strong indicator of organisational health, with high engagement linking to trust that strengthens long‑term sustainability and growth.”
ivolve has taken its place on the list having been recognised for its workplace culture and commitment to employee development, supportive environment, employee wellbeing and high colleagues satisfaction scores.
Tim added: “Ultimately, ivolve’s success is not measured in awards, but in the lives changed. When colleagues feel their best, they give their best and in social care, that impact is profound. It means richer lives, greater independence and better outcomes for the people supported across the organisation, and more widely across all of society.”
