Awards Success for Sanctuary Care’s Scotland Leadership Team
Sanctuary Care’s leadership team has been named Team of the Year at the annual Sanctuary Stars Awards, which celebrate exceptional colleagues across Sanctuary.
The accolade follows a remarkable period of success that has seen the region achieve its strongest regulatory position ever.
Director of Care William McGregor, Regional Managers Joseph Greiner and Lisa McGuire, and Peripatetic Home Managers Katie Finnie and Jacqueline Gordon collected the prestigious award after being recognised for their outstanding leadership and support across Sanctuary Care’s homes in Scotland.
The team was nominated following an extraordinary three-week period during which it successfully supported seven Care Inspectorate inspections, with every home either improving its grades or retaining Grade 5 ratings.
Beyond delivering impressive regulatory outcomes, the team was praised for its unwavering commitment to working in a way that reflects the needs of the business while placing colleagues and residents at the heart of every decision.
Their approach has also had a lasting impact on workplace culture and morale, helping to drive performance improvements, strengthen relationships across homes and create a supportive environment where teams can thrive.
Accepting the award, William McGregor said: “A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Leadership isn’t just about direction, it’s about showing up, sharing knowledge, lifting others and creating space for people to grow. I’m proud to stand alongside a team that embodies all of that, every single day.”
The award recognises not only the team’s impressive operational achievements, but also the positive and lasting difference they continue to make across Sanctuary Care’s Scottish homes through their leadership, dedication and commitment to excellence.
