Traditional Floral Tribute To Be Unveiled As Part Of National Care Open Day
Derbyshire care home Burton Closes Hall is inviting the local community to attend a day of activities in support of National Care Home Open Day including the unveiling of their first ever Well Dressing.
Burton Closes Hall, in Bakewell, are hosting a full day of activities Friday 20th June between 12 noon and 5.30pm including the reveal of the traditional floral tribute which will then be displayed in the town centre as part of Well Dressing Week.
Members of the public will be able to tour the facility which is housed within a historic country mansion and enjoy a programme of activities which include refreshments, entertainment, stalls and prizes throughout the day.
National Care Home Open Day provides the opportunity for thousands of UK care homes to open their doors to welcome the public, connect residents with their local communities, and change perceptions and common misconceptions of care homes for good.
