The Perfume Shop Raises Over £2 Million for Vital Dementia Research

The Perfume Shop celebrated reaching £1 million in 2023, which means it has more than doubled this figure in the past three years.

Since 2014, The Perfume Shop has supported Alzheimer’s Research UK with awareness raising and staff and customer fundraising for vital dementia research.

For over 10-years, the retailer’s staff, known as TPS People, have dedicated themselves to raising funds through activities such as in-store collections, personalised ribbons sales, running challenges, skydives, bungee-jumps, and even treks up Kilimanjaro!

In 2026, The Perfume Shop partnered with the microdonation charity, Pennies, to make donations at the till point easier for customers. Through this, The Perfume Shop will continue its incredible fundraising efforts for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

This landmark milestone of £2 million raised for dementia research underlines the generosity and commitment of The Perfume Shop and its customers. The funds raised have helped accelerate life-changing dementia research powered by Alzheimer’s Research UK. It
has also supported the charity’s Infoline for two years, a service that shares vital dementia information to the public.

The Perfume Shop is also a member of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Pioneers’ Circle, which recognises supporters that have made an exceptional contribution to the charity.
On 3 June 2026, members of The Perfume Shop’s Leadership Team joined Alzheimer’s Research UK representatives for a 10-mile walk from the charity’s office to their new Cambridge store to mark this milestone.
