Outstanding – Careline Lifestyles Recognised in Social Care Awards
Careline Lifestyles were delighted to be shortlisted in a record six categories for the North East Regional Final of the Great British Care Awards which took place on Saturday 22 November 2014 at The Hilton, Gateshead.
Independent providers of specialist residential and nursing care for people with neurological conditions, mental health needs, complex learning and physical disabilities we had nominations for all aspects of the support and care we offer at our Homes throughout the North East.
Those nominated for an Award were:
- Judith Buckle – Care Home Activities Organiser, Lyons Court
- Sharan Rutherford – Good Nurse, Lyons Court
- Kathleen Bishop – Care Home Registered Manager, Lanchester Court
- Julie Joyce – Care Home Worker, Bearpark
- Jude Foster – Dignity in Care, Deneside Court
- Debbie Bond – Outstanding Contribution to Social Care, Head Office
The winner of the Outstanding Contribution to Social Care Special Award went to our Compliance Operations Manager Debbie Bond. Debbie will now go forward to the national finals in London.
Speaking at the awards ceremony Careline Lifestyles Chairman Dr Sharma said: “We are delighted that Debbie and our compliance team has been recognised in this way. As a company we invest a lot in making sure all of our services exceed the standards we are measured against and to receive the Outstanding Contribution to Social Care award is a proud day for Careline Lifestyles”.
Debbie said “I am absolutely thrilled to receive this Award. I have worked in the care sector for over 25 years and have always endeavoured to support and protect vulnerable people, offering guidance and advice to colleagues where ever possible.”
