Local Councilors Welcomed to Poole Care Facility to Celebrate Long-Service Awards

Staff at a local care facility that supports vulnerable adults have been celebrated with a long-service award ceremony spearheaded by BCP Council.

Trinidad Village hosted a celebration to mark the achievements of its staff as well as for other extra care facilities – Delphis Court, Belmont Court and Shaftesbury Court.

Various colleagues were provided with chocolates and gifts to mark their anniversaries, including Karen Clare, who celebrated an impressive 17-year-long service.

Other colleagues, including Jayne Froud and Eileen Tallis, also marked 10 and five years at the home respectively.

The staff were joined by the chairman of BCP Council, Nigel Hedges, Shaw healthcare’s CEO and COO, Russell Brown and Mike Smith, among others.

Operations manager, Kim Harris, said:

“We had a lovely morning spent with guests at our facility here in Poole.

“We’re very proud of the ethos here and the long-standing members of staff echo the commitment we all have for our roles and for our residents. It’s the staff we have to thank for building such a healthy environment and dedicating so much time to the service over the years.

“We very much look forward to welcoming more guests to our services in the future.”
