Events for Frontline Managers
The National Care Forum (NCF) Sue Ryder and Voluntary Organisations Disability Group (VODG) are holding six free events in January and February 2015
The aims of these events are:
To provide managers with an understanding of the wider social care policy context and resources available to assist them in supporting frontline staff improve the quality of service delivery
To promote understanding of what the new regulatory and monitoring framework looks like and its implications for staff development
Highlights of the day will include discussion and workshop sessions on:
- The latest developments on the new Care Act and what it means for managers
- Staff development: care certificate, the social care commitment and how to access free resources
- CQC changes to regulation with particular emphasis on the new performance ratings system
These are free all day events with lunch provided aimed at frontline managers and senior team members of social care support services, from voluntary and not for profit organisations only.
