Eastleigh Care Home Wins Customer Excellence Business Award

Colleagues at Alston House Care Home are celebrating after winning the ‘Customer Excellence’ award at this year’s Eastleigh Business Improvement District [BID] awards.

Customer Relations Manager Kieran Hogan led the team to collect their trophy at a winner’s ceremony at the town’s Point Theatre.

This summer, independent mystery shoppers from the organisation went out to judge local businesses in a range of sectors and categories.

They judged the luxury care home on Leigh Road as being the winner for ‘Customer Experience’ in the Healthcare and Personal Support category.

Kieran said: “Everyone at Alston House is thrilled with this result – thanks so much to Eastleigh BID for the award.

“When people contact us to enquire about the care we offer, it’s often an emotional and difficult time. Our mission is to make sure they have everything they need to make the right decision, and that every resident enjoys the best of what we offer at Alston House.

“It means a lot that the judges were impressed by the customer experience, so we know we’re getting it right!”

Kieran was joined by Wellbeing Lead Kelly-Marie Adams, Wellbeing Assistant Kerry Watson and Administrator Maria Goodchild at the awards.

Kieran added: “We are incredibly proud to live and work in Eastleigh, and it was terrific to hear stories on the night about the work BID is doing to drive footfall and interest in the town centre.”
