Sunrise Senior Living Uk Nominated For Prestigious Motivational Award

Residents and staff at Sunrise Senior Living UK are celebrating after the care home provider was nominated for a prestigious award recognising the motivational benefits given to team members.

For the second year running, Sunrise has been put forward for the Most Motivational Benefits prize at the esteemed Employee Benefits Awards.

The award ceremony, now in its 15th year, recognises employers throughout British industry who develop innovative ways to engage and encourage their workforce. This year’s event will take place on Friday 9th June in the stunning Artillery Garden in London.

The job satisfaction felt by those at Sunrise is shown by the fact that, when asked to respond to questions about reward and recognition, staff scores were ranked 28% higher than the UK benchmark.

The most recognised event on the Sunrise motivational calendar is the Heart and Soul Awards ceremony, which has been running for ten years, and has so far honoured over 600 team members. The ceremony recognises team members who embody the compassionate values of Sunrise, going ‘above and beyond the call of duty’ in serving residents.

In addition, Sunrise also holds an annual event to showcase the high standard of Chefs within the organisation, and regular Recognition Days, which celebrate the role of administrators, nurses, maintenance staff, cares, housekeepers, concierge and chefs in the group’s success.

As well as the benefits offered to staff, Sunrise communities have long been praised for the personalised care that they provide to residents, and the dynamic, engaging environment that they create. Residents are encouraged to live active, healthy lives, and develop their skills and talents.
