Spearhead Care Interiors Opens New Showroom
National supplier Spearhead who supply consumables, equipment, furniture and servicing to care homes officially opened its prestigious new showroom in Staffordshire.
The showrooms were officially opened by Professor June Andrews, international dementia expert and former director of the University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC), who provided a very insightful talk into dementia care and how furnishings and lighting help in dementia care
Issac Theophilos, founder of a successful care home consultancy and author of the recently published book ‘How To Get Outstanding’, also gave presentation and led a discussion at the event.
The showroom, located on Staffordshire Technology Park, offer a complete overview of the company’s interior product ranges, from floorings and fabrics to curtains and chairs, all displayed within fully-fitted room scenes. Based on the successful concept of the company’s first showroom at its head office in Kilmarnock, Scotland, the Stafford facility is the first of its kind in England and aims to help all types of care home groups scope out their requirements, discuss design options and visualise the fit-out that would best suit their home.
The showroom scenes include a lounge, dining room, café and reception area; a dementia suite with bedroom and living area; a room showcasing products and designs for bariatric care and younger adults; plus the ‘Bedroom in a Box’ option.
