Southport home amongst those named in Top 20 care homes Northwest of England

A Southport has been named in the Top 20 Care Homes in the Northwest of England.

MHA Connell Court has won the award following the annual Care Home Awards by carehome.co.uk.

The award recognises 20 of the top-rated care homes in each region of the UK based on reviews from residents and their family and friends.

The home provides residential care for 37 residents and has won the award for the first time in five years.

Anna Harvey, home manager said:
“I am immensely proud of all the staff here at MHA Connell Court.

“As home manager I am very proud of the job I do and it’s great to lead such an amazing team.

“I have been here at the home for five years and it’s the first time we have been awarded this accolade, so I am very happy.
“The last three years with pandemics have been tough and there have been times where staff have gone the extra mile to ensure our residents are looked after.

“They have been available, come rain or shine and put their own interests to one side and continued to care for the residents.

“I hope the team continues to work in the same way and I can’t see why we can’t win this again next year.

“Thank you to everyone who sent in reviews, it really means so much.”
