RMBI Care Co. Has A Very Hairy Movember
Residents and staff at RMBI Care Co. Homes across England and Wales have thrown their support behind Movember to raise awareness of men’s health.
Movember, the month formerly known as November, is when brave and selfless men around the world grow a moustache and women step up to support them, all to raise awareness and funds for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male suicide.
The Homes have held fun activities throughout the month, including moustache themed tea parties, to encourage male residents and staff to talk more openly about their health.
Ladies and gentlemen in their 80s 90s and 100s joined in the fun, donning fake moustaches to pose for photos. While some male staff and residents have grown some serious face furniture.
The company’s Head Office also took part, raising funds for the Movember Foundation, the charity behind Movember.
RMBI Care Co.’s, Managing Director, Mark LLoyd, said: “Movember is a fun and effective way for us to raise awareness of men’s health issues across our care homes and also at our Head Office. We’re proud of the way our staff and our residents have got behind this excellent initiative.”
