Passionate Maidstone Care Manager Wins Prestigious South East Registered Manager Of The Year Award!
Leading homecare provider Bluebird Care Maidstone’s Care Manager Mel Marriott has received the prestigious ‘Registered Manager Of The Year Award’ for the company’s South East UK Region.
Bluebird Care has 200 offices across the UK and Mel was one of seven regional winners who represented a total of 200 Registered Managers. She was presented the award by ITV’s Dr Hilary Jones at a special high tea held at London’s historic Fortnum & Mason on 13th September.
Mel joined the Bluebird Care team as Care Manager in October 2017 and leads the company’s home care service in Maidstone that enables hundreds of people across the borough to remain independent at home.
The team member who nominated Mel said:
“Mel cares about her community and is passionate about delivering premium quality home care service throughout the local area.”
“She is an outstanding manager and highly deserving of the award for how she has led the team in delivering an extremely high standard of care as well as our support for the Stroke Association who are our charity of the year.”
Of receiving the award, Mel said:
“I simply do what I do and to be recognised in this way is really lovely. My passion in life is people and having the opportunity to lead one of the UK’s leading home care services is a real privilege.”
