Pancake Day Doesn’t Fall Flat At Sycamore Hall Care Home!

Residents at Sycamore Hall Care Home in Ripon- part of the New Century Care Group – enjoyed a very special and extra fun Pancake Day on Tuesday.

The afternoon started with a great demonstration from the homes’ dedicated chefs on how to make the prefect pancakes and how to flip them, which the residents really enjoyed having a go at. The chefs even showed the residents more exciting toppings than just lemon and sugar, so there was a variety of options for everyone to try. Pancakes will certainly be back on the menu soon!

Christina Medway-Steel, Manager at Sycamore Hall Care Home, commented:

“Celebrating Pancake Day was such an enjoyable day, and is part of our ethos of making Sycamore Hall a home away from home. It was great for all the residents and staff to get involved and have a bit of fun and some delicious food!

“We are so thankful to our activities co-ordinators and chefs for bringing the day together. It was so nice to have the whole home community involved in the activities, and the residents can’t wait to get cooking again.”
