Midlands Care Home Group Celebrates Multi-Award Success at 2025 Care Home Awards

Adept Care Homes is celebrating a landmark day of recognition at the Care Home Awards 2025, bringing home four major category wins, a high commendation, and retaining the prestigious title of Outstanding Smaller Care Group of the Year for the second year running.

The glittering awards ceremony, held on Friday 16th May at the Royal Garden Hotel Kensington, London, brought together leaders from across the adult social care sector to honour outstanding innovation, person-centred care, and community impact. Adept Care Homes emerged as one of the events biggest winners, with awards recognising both individual home achievements and group-wide excellence.

Award Wins for Adept Care Homes:

Outstanding Smaller Care Group (up to 10 homes) – Winner (second year in a row)

Best for Food, Dining and Nutrition – Bowood Court Care Home, Redditch

Best for Indoor or Outdoor Communal Spaces – The Old Vicarage, Clay Cross

Best Sustainability Initiative – Group-wide win

High Commendation for Specialist Dementia Care

Kenny Nelson, Managing Director of Adept Care Homes, said: “These awards reflect the creativity, compassion, and commitment shown every single day by our incredible teams. From beautifully designed pub spaces to safe, nutritious dining and sustainable innovations, we are proud to lead with purpose and heart.”

The awards shine a spotlight on Adept’s person-first approach, particularly in key areas like dining, dementia care, community connection, and sustainability. Each home brings this ethos to life in unique ways—from Bowood Court’s nationally recognised dysphagia-friendly menus to The Old Vicarage’s resident-designed pub and beer garden, and Harrier House’s growing intergenerational community initiatives.

“Winning across so many diverse categories demonstrates the depth of talent and innovation across our homes,” said Kenny Nelson. “Most importantly, it reaffirms our mission to provide not just care—but a vibrant, purposeful life—for every resident.”
