Knight Frank raises £15,500 for the Matt Hampson Foundation at its annual Healthcare Property Dinner

Knight Frank held its fourth Healthcare Property Dinner on the 5th October, in aid of the Matt Hampson Foundation.

The event was held at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London and marked the launch of the Luxury Care Home Guide 2018, to over 420 guests. From the publication, care homes from around £2bn of the best assets in the UK were considered for the ‘Knight Frank Luxury Care Home Award 2018’.

The title was awarded to Wetherby Manor, a care home in West Yorkshire, run by Hadrian Healthcare Group. The care home encompasses 75 bedrooms and offers 24 hour personal care to residents.

Champion jockey Frankie Dettori was the evening’s special guest and took to the stage to talk to guests about his career.

Proceeds from the event go to the Matt Hampson Foundation, which provides advice, support, relief and treatment to those suffering serious injury or disability as a result of sporting activites.

Julian Evans, Head of Healthcare, Hotels & Leisure at Knight Frank commented: “This is the fourth Healthcare Property Dinner that we have had the pleasure of hosting. The evening is a great opportunity to identify some of the best care home assets in the UK, and we were pleased to present Wetherby Manor with their well-deserved award.

I am thrilled to report that the event was a huge success and raised £15,500 for the Matt Hampson Foundation”.
