Homecare Festive Fundraiser

A team of dedicated Care Staff from Stocks Hall Homecare in Wigan have been spreading some festive joy, whilst fundraising for a special Community Christmas Party.

Stocks Hall Homecare & Agency Team in based in Hindley, Wigan have been visiting clients out in the community, dressed in festive attire for a sponsored fancy dress day to raise vital funds so that they can organise a Christmas Party for the ladies and gentlemen they support.  The smiles on the faces say it all.

Norma, Care Co-ordinator at Stocks Hall Homecare says “Christmas can be a difficult time for people, particularly those living with complex health conditions such as Dementia, and it is vital that we all make the effort to fight issues such as loneliness and isolation and ensure that people can enjoy the festive period. It is always a huge pleasure to be able to spend those extra special moments and raise a smile or two, all for a great cause.”

The Stocks Hall Homecare Team were thrilled to take this opportunity to spread warmth and joy on a dreary, cold day.

Norma continues, “A key part of the care our Carers provide is developing genuine relationships with the clients and families they support.  The money raised will go a long way in helping to organise a fantastic Christmas event for those living in the Community to enjoy. We couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who donated and particularly our team of amazing Carers.
