Hark the Herald Angels Sing at Local Care Home

Heavenly voices rang out at Chorleywood Beaumont care home as the community came together for a carol concert in the home’s garden.

Staff and residents at Barchester’s Chorleywood Beaumont care home, in Chorleywood got in the Christmas spirit by inviting the community to come and join in with a carol concert in the home’s garden to sing some festive Christmas favourites.  The singing was led by local children from The Russel School and Christ Church School.

There was mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies with lots of other Christmas treats all prepared by chef’s, Callum and Malcom to keep everyone warm.

General Manager, Nick Wrapson said: “We are so lucky to have such a fantastic community here at Chorleywood. Singing Christmas carols is such a lovely tradition, I’m so glad we could invite our friends and neighbours to come and join in with us in the garden.”

Hilary Gullet resident at Chorleywood said: “I love to sing Christmas carols so it was wonderful to hear all my old favourites sung so beautifully by the children, there really is nothing better than a good old singalong!”
