Hampshire Care Association’s Annual Seminar Proves A Hit With Both Care Home Professionals & Suppliers Alike.

Hampshire Care AssociationsjpgLast month saw the return of Hampshire Care Association’s popular annual seminar. The 23rd September saw care home owners and managers from across the region descend on the Ageas Bowl in Southampton for what proved to be a fruitful and informative event for all.

The event which was free to HCA members and £10 for non-members quickly booked up as the speakers and exhibitors were announced. With a total of 34 exhibitors covering all aspects of the sector and 10 speakers covering all of the industry’s hot topics, there was something relevant and useful to everyone.

Hampshire Care Association’s business manager, Debbie Corti-Young said of the event ‘we are really pleased with how it went. We’ve had such good feedback from both the delegates who attended and the suppliers who exhibited, we couldn’t have asked for a better response. It’s a turbulent time for the care industry with many home owners worried about things like the implications of the living wage, the care certificate, the shortage of nurses and CQC inspections, so we felt it was important to book speakers that could cover all of these topics. The wide range of stands we had also gave people the chance to get useful one to one advice and information on lots of different subjects and products as well.”
