Double Accolade for Local Care Home Grove Court
Grove Court in Woodbridge, Suffolk, has two big reasons to celebrate!
It has achieved a perfect 10 on Carehome.co.uk, the highest achievable review score and has also retained its Outstanding status with the Care Quality Commission, CQC.
Only a limited number of care homes in the UK hold this rare combination of holding both top accolades simultaneously.
Carehome.co.uk scores are based on quantity and quality of recent reviews from residents and relatives, showing that positive experiences are consistently delivered day after day. The reviews do not just reflect the high standard of clinical care but also the lifestyle enjoyed by all at Grove Court.
A CQC “Outstanding” rating is the highest grade awarded by the Care Quality Commission and indicates that a care home provides exceptional and innovative care that exceeds expected standards. Only 3.5% – 4.4% of care homes in England, representing roughly 500 top-tier providers, hold this rating which looks at areas such as person-centred care, leadership, culture and continuous improvement.
Hazel Roberts, CQC Deputy Director of adult social care in the east of England, said: “When we inspected Grove Court, we found a service that had not only maintained the high standards seen at its previous inspection but had continued to build on them. This reflects the dedication and consistency of the leaders and staff team.
“What stood out most was how deeply staff knew the people in their care. Other services should look at this report as an example of outstanding practice, supporting people to lead their best lives.”
“We are absolutely delighted and so proud to have achieved these two amazing accreditations, stated Kelly Lockwood, Grove Court Manager. “They reflect the dedication, compassion and commitment our team bring to their roles every day. We are absolutely focused on creating the best quality of life for each of our residents, where person-centred care is at the heart of all we do.”
