Crieff Residents Raise £900 for Local Care Home

Generous members of the Perthshire community raised an impressive £900 for residents at HC-One care home, The Birches, during a recent bingo night.

Volunteers at the Royal British Legion Scotland clubrooms in Crieff

hosted the evening, which included 26 game prizes, a raffle sponsored by local businesses, and a high tea.

Robert Ainslie, HC-One Care Home Manager, commented: “We are hugely grateful to the Royal British Legion and all of our kind-hearted neighbours for donating to our residents’ comfort fund.

“We have our own minibus at The Birches and are always planning activities out in the community so that residents can take full advantage of local life and meet new people. The money raised will give them the opportunity to discover new places and make memories with friends.”

In addition to care home activities, the money raised will also be put aside for residents who might find themselves in the situation of needing extra funding for clothing and essentials.
