Crafty Residents At Stocks Hall Care Home In Ormskirk, Had An ‘Eggstra-Special’ Afternoon Kicking Off Their Easter Celebrations With A Fun Easter Bonnet Parade.

Ladies from Stocks Hall Care Home, Nursery Avenue, Ormskirk were beaming with pride as they presented their colourful hats, which they had decorated using feathers, glitter, miniature chicks and other arts and craft materials to mark the upcoming Spring festival.

Activities Staff, Gemma Jacobs said “The ladies loved planning what they were going to create and there was lots of lively discussion about what to use and which bonnet was the best.”

Once completed, the stylish bonnets were showcased as part of a fun Easter parade around the home.

Gemma continues “As well as being great fun, it has been a wonderful reminiscence activity for the ladies, laughing and sharing lovely stories of celebrating Easter with their families.  We like to host a number of activities to encourage the people living here to be creative throughout the year and Stocks Hall has plenty more planned, it’s been a fantastic way to start the Easter week.”
