Community Integrated Care Appoints Lynsey Robertson as Commercial Director
Community Integrated Care has announced the appointment of Lynsey Robertson as its new Commercial Director, strengthening the charity’s leadership team as it continues to deliver against its ambitious growth strategy.
Lynsey joins the social care charity from West and North London Integrated Care Board, where she currently serves as Deputy Director of Complex Care, Strategic Commissioning. She brings more than 25 years of experience across health and social care, spanning senior leadership roles in both operational management and business development.
Throughout her career, Lynsey has worked extensively to support adults with learning disabilities and autism across the third sector and commissioning environments. Beginning her professional journey as a Support Worker, she has maintained a strong commitment to ensuring the voices and aspirations of people who draw on support remain central to decision-making.
In her new role, Lynsey will lead Community Integrated Care’s Business Development function and take overall responsibility for delivering the organisation’s growth ambitions as part of its Best Lives, Bolder strategy. She will focus on creating sustainable opportunities for growth that strengthen the charity’s position within the sector while supporting the continued delivery of high-quality, person-centred support.
Lynsey said: “I’m really excited to be joining Community Integrated Care. Over the years I’ve worked across both provider and commissioning organisations, and Community Integrated Care has always stood out as a charity with a strong reputation, a clear sense of purpose and a genuine commitment to the people it supports. The role felt like a great fit with my values and an opportunity to be part of something ambitious.
“What really attracted me was the chance to support the charity’s growth agenda while staying focused on what matters most – delivering great outcomes for the people we support. Having started my career as a Support Worker, I’ve always believed that people should be at the heart of every decision we make. I’m looking forward to getting to know the organisation, spending time with colleagues and services, and helping build on the fantastic work that’s already happening across the charity.”
Welcoming the appointment, Karen Sheridan, Chief Operating Officer at Community Integrated Care, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lynsey to Community Integrated Care. Her extensive experience across health and social care, combined with her passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for people, makes her an excellent addition to our leadership team.
“Lynsey’s understanding of both commissioning and service delivery, alongside her commitment to sustainable growth and sector advocacy, will be instrumental as we continue to deliver our Best Lives, Bolder strategy and support more people to lead fulfilling lives.”
