Care Provider Launches New Regional Identity With HC-One Wales
HC-One has launched its new Welsh identity with the opening of a new office at the Quarry Hall Care Home in Cardiff.
HC-One Wales, the new banner under which the care provider will oversee its internal operations as well as engage with the unique organisations within the Welsh regional health sector will look to establish a new identity and build stronger connections throughout the country.
From Swansea, Neath, to Merthyr Tydfil and Port Talbot, Home Managers from all 14 of HC-One Wales’s care homes were in attendance for the opening of the new office, signalling a new phase of greater collaboration across the region.
Creating a dedicated base in the Welsh capital, the new office provides plenty of meeting space as well as a centralised location to help train and upskill Welsh colleagues without leaving the country.
HC-One Wales has also placed Welsh culture and identity at the heart of its existence, ensuring that the Welsh language is used throughout the signage of the new office and encouraging colleagues and residents to connect with their heritage.
Carol Dight, Regional Director for HC-One Wales said:
“HC-One Wales is more than just a banner under which we operate, it brings all our colleagues within the region closer to the people we serve and will provide us with a focal point to help us achieve our purpose.”
“This new identity marks a key milestone in the way we operate within Wales, building upon our strong foundations to help us to provide kind and quality care to the people we serve. introducing HC-One Wales not only recognises the key differences in the way we operate in the region, but it also helps us to understand the unique needs and desires of our residents across all 14 homes.”
Catrin Hooper, Home Manager at HC-One Wales’s Llys Newydd Care Home said:
“Everyone at the home holds their Welsh identity close to their hearts and it’s really important that we see this reflected in how we provide care. Having an identity that is solely focused on providing kind care in Wales will be fantastic in recognising the unique challenges of providing care in the region whilst also benefitting from the resources of a large organisation. HC-One Wales will be a great opportunity to bring all 14 homes closer together and work in a more collaborative manner than before, and we are all looking forward to being part of that process.”
