Burscough Manor Care Home Supports Local Community With Food Bank Initiative

Burscough Manor care home, located in the heart of Burscough near Ormskirk, is showcasing its strong community spirit by supporting the Burscough Food Bank, based at Burscough Methodist Church on Orrell Lane.

The care home, part of Sandstone Care, has become an official drop-off point for essential food and household items to help local individuals and families in need. The initiative encourages staff, residents’ families, and members of the public to contribute to this vital cause by bringing donations directly to the home.

Lizzie Brighouse, Home Manager at Burscough Manor, expressed her enthusiasm for the project:
