Bramwell Care Home Celebrates Prestigious Proud To Care Award Win
Mable Joloza manager at Bramwell Care Home has won the People’s Choice Award at the first-ever Proud to Care Awards, organised by Nottinghamshire County Council.
The awards ceremony, held on the 12th of November 2024 at Eastwood Hall, celebrated the incredible work of social care teams across Nottinghamshire, including care homes, nursing homes, domiciliary care, and assisted living services. With over 280 nominations submitted, the event highlighted the vital role of social care in the community.
Mable was honoured to receive the award and, during her heartfelt speech, she dedicated the accolade to the entire Bramwell Care Home team. She shared, “This award is for every staff member and resident at Bramwell Care Home. It wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support, hard work, and dedication of our team. Together, we strive to provide the best care and create a true sense of home for our residents.”
The achievement shines a spotlight on the compassionate work of social care professionals and the impact they make every day. As Mable added, “It is nice to receive recognition from external bodies for what social care staff are doing and the impact their hard work brings in looking after the elderly. Our aim is to provide dignity for everyone, everyday, because we care.”
