To honour World Parkinson’s Day on April 11, Karen Casey, Activities Coordinator at RMBI Care Co. Home Zetland Court, in Bournemouth, recently took part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. This research and support charity aims to improve the quality of life of people living with Parkinson’s and find a cure for this condition.

Karen joined over 16,000 people and ran over 13 miles through both the City of London and City of Westminster. She says: “I was motivated to run for this charity because one of my good friends has this disease. Up to now I have raised over £600! What an amazing experience.”
