Blue Light Card Helps Members Save £6.7million With Free Ticket Initiative

Members of the Blue Light community, including those in the adult social and residential nursing care sector saved £6.7million on tickets for festivals, gigs, attractions and more in 2023, thanks to Blue Light Card’s exclusive free ticket initiative.

Blue Light Card gave away over 195,000 tickets throughout the year, via easy to enter ballots and exclusive access first-come-first-served tickets to events across the UK.

Events included the FA Cup semi-final, Capital’s Summertime Ball and All Points East festival. Blue Light Tickets even gave away a huge 6,000 tickets to see Stormzy’s one and only 2023 concert in August.

Members of the Blue Light community were also able to visit a range of attractions throughout the year, including Chessington World of Adventure Resort, the London Eye, Winter Wonderland and racecourses across the country.

There were also some VIP experiences up for grabs, which included watching the England vs. Australia football match at Wembley, attending Thorpe Park’s Mardi Gras afternoon and seeing Peter Kay’s Better Late Than Never tour.

In 2024, members can look forward to getting their hands on tickets more truly incredible events, including:

● Member Days at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort – 9-10 March

Commenting on the success of Blue Light Tickets throughout 2023, Andy Collins, COO of Blue Light Card, said:
“Our Blue Light Tickets initiative is just one way that we can show our thanks to the people who work tirelessly to keep us safe every day. If anyone deserves the chance to enjoy a potentially once in a lifetime experience, it’s those in the emergency services, NHS, armed forces and social care sector.

“By partnering with sporting organisations, festivals and attractions, we are able to keep this initiative going and hope to continue treating the Blue Light community to these exclusive events.

“We already have an exciting year planned for Blue Light Tickets, with tickets to The Brits, Jimmy Carr’s upcoming tour, member days at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and various football tournament games, to name a few, available to win and we look forward to creating more unforgettable memories for those who deserve it the most.”
