Audley Foundation Marks 5 Year Milestone with Over £217,000 Donated to Charity

The Audley Foundation is marking its fifth anniversary, having donated more than £217,000 to local and national causes since its launch.

The charity was established by John Nettleton, Chair of the Audley Foundation and Group Land Director at retirement village provider Audley Group.

The Foundation was established in 2022 with a clear purpose – to improve the lives of older people, particularly those facing loneliness and hardship. The milestone comes on the back of a strong 2025, which saw £51,000 distributed to 27 separate charities.

Supported causes include national organisations such as The Care Workers’ Charity, Age UK, and MIND, alongside regional projects selected directly by Audley village residents and staff.

Alongside grant funding, the Foundation works on practical community initiatives, including installing six ‘Chatty Benches’ near Audley villages to help tackle isolation and encourage everyday conversation among older people.

With charities facing tougher conditions than ever, being able to channel £51,000 into 27 fantastic causes over the past year is something we’re immensely proud of.
