Anchor Hanover Wins Large Residential Care Provider of the Year at LaingBuisson Awards

Anchor Hanover scooped the Large Residential Care Provider of the Year Award at the LaingBuisson Awards earlier this month.

Anchor Hanover was recognised for its excellence in providing residential care for older people and it’s focus on innovation and engagement with residents within a larger organisation.

Praised by the judges, a LaingBuisson spokesperson said, “I was impressed by the commitment of all staff to developing their role in providing activities and was also pleased to see that Anchor Hanover had a very good score from residents and relatives on the Your Care Rating scheme.

“This has been a huge year for Anchor Hanover – and to successfully grow and increase quality during a period of significant change such as merger, is a real testament to the leadership and staff. The continued focus on innovation and engagement with the wider community are also very impressive.”

Anchor Hanover is England’s largest provider of housing and care to older people, having formed in 2018 from the merger of Anchor Trust and Hanover Housing Association.

Anchor Hanover Chief Executive, Jane Ashcroft CBE said, “We are thrilled to win the LaingBuisson Residential Care Provider of the year award. It’s wonderful to be recognised nationally for delivering person centred care and for our dedicated focus on providing places where people love living in later life.”
