Adult Services Charity Appoints Apprenticeship Provider
A nationwide charity that helps people rebuild their lives has appointed leading training provider Realise to develop new team leaders through apprenticeships.
Change Grow Live, which provides free treatment, support and information about drug and alcohol use, homelessness, justice and probation and employment, will offer a progression route through Health and Social Care apprenticeships with Realise.
There will be 200 learners supported through their first programme initially, with scope for this to grow much further as more apprenticeship courses are introduced to the partnership.
Alexandra Bode-Tunji, Chief People Officer at Change Grow Live, said the charity had partnered with Realise to allow colleagues to grow both professionally and personally.
“This marks the beginning of an important chapter where our people will have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles and beyond,” said Alexandra.
“Our people are at the heart of the impact we create. When we invest in training and development, we’re investing in safer services, better outcomes, higher quality interactions and greater stability across our workforce.”
Alexandra said Change Grow Live had appointed Realise as the provider had taken the time to understand the charity’s mission and values.
She added: “Their approach wasn’t about offering a generic solution, it was about designing something that responded directly to our needs, whether that’s supporting Recovery Workers or creating progression routes that strengthen our future talent.”
Angela Kaine, Director of Health & Social Care at Realise, said the partnership would help build new employment and career pathways and make Change Grow Live a place where people can thrive.
She said: “Change Grow Live does fantastic work to help people in a variety of different circumstances and has grown into a huge operation with more than 5,000 employees and 150 services.
“We understand the complexity of their organisation and have formulated a bespoke plan which will help build clear pathways, strengthening their ability to attract, grow and retain great people.
“We look forward to working with Change Grow Live and building a long-term collaboration, adapting to the needs of their services and supporting their people throughout.”
Realise works with many large care operators and social care providers, offering an array of apprenticeships, including the Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Work Apprenticeship and the Level 5 Leader in Adult care Apprenticeship.
