A Super Day Out Thanks To Birch Green

Superheroes including Captain America, Batman and Bananaman all stopped by Skelmersdale care home Birch Green recently for a well-earned cuppa.

The occasion was part of a special superhero-themed family fun day held by Birch Green, which saw Paul Greenwood and Liam Southern from Maghull-based Filmland Costumes pay a visit.

Staff members including Bernadette Forshaw, Jill Tugwell, Tracey Roberts, Emma Thomas and Jan Holt all got in on the act, pictured.

Carol Nickeas, general manager of Birch Green, said: “We love throwing open our doors to the community, and everyone was looking forward to this event as a great excuse to dress up. We’d like to thank everyone who got involved for their support.”

Birch Green is now planning its next event, to take place in September around the theme of Cowboys and Indians.
