Woodview Celebrate The Artwork Of Resident

Woodview-art-exhibitionWoodview Care Home in Lincoln recently arranged a week long art exhibition at the home to celebrate the artwork of one of their residents. The team have invited relatives and friends of the home to come and take in the fantastic artwork created by one of their residents. The exhibition opened on 5thSeptember and will run for six days.

Gill Lee, resident at Woodview, is a very keen painter and attends a local art group every week. The team at Woodview have always admired the work of Gill and came up with the idea of an art exhibition to show off how talented she is. With the help of Aquarius Art Group, which Gill attends, the home has been transformed into an art gallery – paintings are up on display all around the home and they are also available to purchase.

Louise Lawson, Home Manager, told us “We always admire the work that Gill produces, she has a real talent and we’re so proud of her. The exhibition is a way to celebrate Gill’s artwork but also to encourage others to give painting a go. So far it has been a real success – we’ve had visitors every day popping in to look at the artwork. Gill has loved every minute of it!”
