Vida Healthcare Scoops Dementia Care Leader Award

Bernadette Mossman of specialist dementia care provider, Vida Healthcare, is celebrating after winning the Dementia Care Leader award at the Social Care Leadership Awards 2022.

Bernadette, Healthcare Director at Vida Healthcare, took home the award due to evidence of her outstanding contribution to health and social care, particularly in relation to the care of people living with dementia, and the significant achievements that she has secured over her past decade of employment at the specialist dementia care provider.

The Social Care Leadership Awards provide an opportunity to showcase excellence in senior leadership in the sector. The awards ceremony took place on 19th October 2022 at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.

Commenting on her win, Bernadette said:
“Since starting my career in health and social care, I’ve met so many amazing people and have achieved things that I’m extremely proud of. This award win is one such achievement. Being recognised by my peers and receiving this award means a lot to me, and I’m touched that my passion and dedication to supporting people living with dementia and our colleagues has been recognised.”

Bernadette is an experienced healthcare professional with over 25 years’ experience across the public and private sectors. Commencing her career as a community psychiatric nurse, Bernadette has also held the position of Regional Manager for a large care provider where she was responsible for managing ten homes comprising 450 personnel and 300 beds.
