The Royal Star & Garter Home Tea with the CQC

The Royal Star & Garter Home in Surbiton received a special visit from Andrea Sutcliffe, Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Andrea had been recommended to visit the Home to see an example of ‘best practice’ in care homes.

The highlight for Andrea was joining in our Vintage Afternoon Tea, where she chatted enthusiastically with the residents. Andrea also enjoyed meeting staff during the tour of the Home and learning about our very special brand of care.

She commented:

“I would like to thank the residents, staff and directors at The Royal Star & Garter Home in Surbiton for making me so welcome. There was a lovely buzz about the place with a lot going on and a real attention to detail in the layout and decoration of the Home. The tea and cake were great too!”
