Thank You’s All Round for National Carers Week

Middletown Grange care home in Hailey Nr Witney, run by Barchester Healthcare, are celebrating National Carers’ Week, which takes place from June 6-12. Residents wanted to thank all the wonderful staff at the home, whose hard work and dedication make a real difference to the lives of those living in their care.

Carers Week is an annual event to raise awareness of caring, highlighting the challenges carers face, and recognising the contribution they make to our residents, families and communities throughout the UK. The theme for Carers Week this year is ‘Making caring visible, valued and supported’ – to shine a light on all those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to care for vulnerable people in our communities.

General Manager, Clemence Heriman has been presenting all care staff with ‘Thank you’ gifts and messages from their colleagues, and the residents of Middletown Grange to express ‘what you do is amazing’!

We are very fortunate at Middletown Grange to have such dedicated and caring team looking after each and every one of our residents. The residents at Middletown Grange said they also wanted to thank their carers for all that they do commenting; “They really are heaven sent.”
