Staff And Residents At Local Care Home Among First To Receive Vaccine

Staff at Barchester’s Cheverton Lodge Care Homecare home, in Islington were delighted to be invited to have the vaccination at Cheverton Lodge Care Home, 30A Cheverton Road, London N193AY, which has lifted everyone’s spirits after what has been a very challenging year for everyone. The programme was fully supported by the presence of our G.P.

General Manager, Earl Elliott said: “We’ve had a year like no other and the vaccine feels like the light at the end of the tunnel. Our teams have been magnificent in how they have risen to every challenge during this pandemic and we are proud to play our part in this next phase to ensure the most vulnerable are protected.”

Deputy Manager Krisztina Vadnai staff member of Cheverton Lodge said: “I am so pleased to be given the vaccine, I have been waiting for this and   it will help to keep our residents safe, and is the first step in getting things back to normal and having a buzz of visitors in the home once again.”

The Team from Whittington Health, will be returning again on Thursday February 4th, to complete the vaccination programme for the remaining staff and residents.
