Springhill One Step Closer To BIBA Hat-Trick

bibas_logo111Springhill Care Group has reached the final stage in the prestigious BIBA awards for a grand total of three prizes.

Earlier this year we were shortlisted for the three categories in the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs), one of the region’s top award ceremonies highlighting the great businesses operating in the region.

These were: Excellence in Customer Service, Employer of the Year, and Service Business of the Year.

The BIBAs are known as ‘the one they all want to win’ and the judging process is tough, with the finalist businesses required to show why it is they should scoop one of the top awards in a process described by the awards organisers as ‘forensic scrutiny’ to ‘ensure only the very best’ make the final shortlists.

Springhill has already made it through an initial round of judging, held earlier this year, to reduce the entries to a shortlist.

Now we are delighted to report that we have reached the final stage of the awards process, and will now be visited by the judges who will get to see the great work being done here at Springhill Care Group.

The awards are open to any business based in Lancashire, and are designed to ‘celebrate the achievements of the county’s businesses whether big or small.’ In total, 18 prizes are up for grabs in this year’s competition.

Last year the BIBAs attracted around 1,000 entries, which were cut down to just 125 which went on to the final judging stage. The awards traditionally attract around 900 guests on the evening, to an event held in glittering surroundings at Blackpool Tower.

Following the judges’ visits, the ceremony itself takes place in September. Good luck to all those involved.  To learn more about the BIBAs visit www.thebibas.co.uk
