Signature Senior Lifestyle Raises Over £25,000 for Charities in 2024
Luxury care home provider Signature Senior Lifestyle, renowned for its exceptional residential, nursing and dementia care offer in prime locations across London and the home counties, is celebrating an extraordinary year of charitable giving.
Over the course of 2024, the care home provider raised more than £25,000 for 24 different charities, thanks to the support and generosity of its residents, colleagues, and broader community.
Among the top beneficiaries were Mayhew Charity, which received an incredible £15,000 to support its work in animal welfare, Crohn’s & Colitis UK, which benefited from £1,600 to further their research and support for those affected by these conditions, and AFC Wimbledon Foundation, receiving approximately £1,415 to promote community engagement and physical activity.
These charities represent just a fraction of the incredible causes supported across Signature Senior Lifestyle’s ten homes and central Support Office. Other beneficiaries include well-loved national charities such as Pancreatic Cancer UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, and British Heart Foundation, alongside local organisations like Age Concern Banstead, New Beginnings, and Thames Hospice.
Kay Cox, Chief Executive of Signature Senior Lifestyle, said:
“Our success in raising such a remarkable sum reflects the incredible dedication of everyone in the Signature Senior Lifestyle family. Every bake sale, fun run and community event brought us closer together with a shared purpose – to make a difference to the causes active in our communities and close to our hearts. We couldn’t be prouder of the impact we’ve achieved together.”
Signature Senior Lifestyle’s charity work extended across a diverse range of causes, supporting organisations such as Children with Cancer UK, Save the Children UK, Second Chance Dog Rescue, The Cowshed, and many more. Each fundraising effort was fuelled by the collective energy of residents, loved ones, and colleagues who embraced the chance to give back.
This year was also a remarkable one for Signature Senior Lifestyle in terms of accolades. Signature at Highgate celebrated many successes in its first year, including winning the prestigious Luxury Care Home Award 2025 at the Knight Frank Care Home Awards.
Additionally, Signature Senior Lifestyle was named Care Home Group of the Year at the LaingBuisson Awards 2024, a benchmark of excellence across the health and social care sectors, and earned the “Best for Use of Technology and Digital Care Strategy” Care Home Award 2024, recognising outstanding performance in delivering care safely through technology.
As the care home provider looks ahead to 2025, it aims to continue building on this success by fostering a culture of generosity, innovation, and excellence.
Kay continued:
“We are so lucky to be able to give back – and charity is at the heart of what we do. We are immensely grateful to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and resources to make this year so impactful. Here’s to even greater achievements in the year to come!”
