Sharing The Love At Stretton Hall

Love was all around at a Shropshire nursing home when it hosted a St Valentine’s Day afternoon tea for residents, families and friends.

Morris Care’s Stretton Hall in All Stretton was decorated on a Valentine theme, with entertainer Sadie-Beth singing favourite romantic classics to add to the fun.

The residents and their loved ones enjoyed baked treats and Prosecco in the home’s Poppies Tea Room to celebrate the day.

Social Life Co-Ordinator Issy Pitts said: “Everyone really enjoyed the occasion, it brought back such happy memories and created a few new ones too. We got the best china out as residents celebrated with their loved ones, whether that was their partner, family or friend.

“We hold a range of activities to help people in our care live the best life they can. St Valentine’s Day was a lovely opportunity to do just that and we’d like to thank everyone who got involved to make it special.”
