Saniflo Continues Support Of Cancer Research UK

CancerSaniflo UK has long supported Cancer Research UK raising thousands of pounds via various activities including a charity bike ride from London to Paris last September, a hike up Ben Nevis in Scotland in 2014 and a dress down Friday every week.

During the past few months the staff at the South Ruislip office have raised £667 from their dress down Friday when they each donate £1 for the privilege and these funds will be split between prostate and breast cancer research.

Saniflo UK Customer Services and Marketing Manager, Ann Boardman, comments: “Saniflo is a strong supporter of Cancer Research UK, before and after losing our former MD Paul Newson in January 2014. The charity doesn’t receive any government funding, so it’s badly needed. The dress down Friday is a bit of fun for a serious cause and it’s amazing to see how those pounds pile up quickly. The money’s going to do some good.”

About Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK funds over half of the UK’s cancer research, including the life-saving work of over 4000 scientists, doctors and nurses fighting cancer on all fronts. Every day, Cancer Research UK researchers make cutting-edge discoveries in their labs, and doctors and nurses pioneer new treatments with patients in hospitals.

Every year Cancer Research UK helps millions of people get the information they need to understand the disease. And, together with supporters, the organisation campaigns on key cancer issues including access to cancer drugs, screening and reducing the use of tobacco.
