Runwood Homes Celebrates their Nurses on International Nurse’s Day

On International Nurse’s Day, care homes have recognised, celebrated and shown their appreciation for all the nurses both within their homes and their wider communities.

International Nurses Day was a perfect opportunity to take a moment to truly recognise the hard work of nurses, carers and all staff within the Group’s care homes. Many homes made creative displays to decorate the home for the day and each and every home expressed their thanks in their own meaningful and special ways.

Runwood Homes offer nursing care within a selection of its homes and so the organisation truly understands the inspiring and important role they play for residents and the community.

Care homes in the Group, such as Four Acres, in Studley, Warwickshire, and Wisden Court in Stevenage, Hertfordshire enjoyed presenting their nurses with gifts as a reflection of their thanks and appreciation. The team at Wisden Court made up break bags, which included drinks, snacks and more so nurses could enjoy a well-earned refreshing break. Four Acres gifted their nurses with well-deserved boxes of chocolates and wine.

Bracebridge Court care home, in Warwickshire, also took part in the celebrations and organised a delicious spread, including coffees, teas, pastries, sweets and more.

Runwood Homes loved being able to feature and celebrate their talented team of nurses and very much recognise and appreciate the inspiring work they do every day.

“On International Nurses Day, we as a care provider, are proud to celebrate and feature the inspiring work of nurses across our homes. Runwood Homes wishes every nurse, carer and member of the Runwood Homes’ team a very happy International Nurse’s Day and expresses their most heartfelt thanks for the positive impact they make on residents’ lives, each and every day.” – Runwood Homes Spokesperson.
