Rowden Hill Care Colleague Is Braving The Shave

At HC-One’s Chippenham’s nursing, residential and nursing memory care home, Avon Court one of the Nursing Assistants is doing a charity fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer.

Rachael Guilford has 21 inches of long hair and would like to donate the hair to a wig charity before having the rest of her hair shaved off.

The shave is taking place at Avon Court on the 27th of August at 2.30 pm.

Rachael has set up a ‘Go Fund Me’ page online and has been working with the home’s Wellbeing Coordinators Lyn Neale and Leila Garraway, to organise the event.

Angela, who is a Resident at Avon Court, was delighted when she heard the news, “What a lovely, brave thing to do.”

Lyn, Leila and Rachael would like to thank everyone for their support so far and hope to raise more for this fantastic charity before the big day.
