Residents At Wigston Care Home Amazed With Pamper Session

Residents at HC One’s Magna care home have been enjoyed a weekly pampering session thanks to the home’s wellbeing coordinator.

Every Thursday, the Wigston home’s wellbeing coordinator, Georgie, has kindly been pampering Residents with a shampoo and set whilst we everyone is still unable to have the home’s regular usual Hairdresser, Sue, attend.

The female Residents have been revelling in their Thursday treat and loving the transformation. Georgie has been doing this for the last 6 months, and today, Constance and Mavis have both enjoyed having a shampoo and set.

The Residents commented, “We all love having our hair shampooed and set, Georgie makes us all look lovely!”

They said how relaxed they felt while reading a magazine under the hairdryer, and how amazing they looked when the curlers were taken out.

Both ladies wished that they had somewhere nice to go in the evening. They imagined being taken out to the theatre and having a nice meal in a restaurant before, and hopefully once the pandemic is over this can go ahead.

It’s great for the home to have Georgie carry out this weekly pamper with everything that has been going on, she is a credit to the team.
