Residents At Local Care Home Practice Their Fancy Footwork At A Silent Disco
Residents at Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community in Wimbledon were shaking a leg to 70’s classics during a silent disco that took place at the home. Originally an exercise activity planned to inspire residents to keep fit during the snowy weather, residents at the home were able to enjoy their favourite songs while wearing their own wireless headphones.
On the day, residents tapped their toes to songs by ABBA and The Bee Gees. General Manager of the home, Nicolas KeeMew, said: “The residents and the staff at our home really enjoyed the silent disco, and Mamma Mia by ABBA was the hit of the day, even though we were all out of sync with each other with the headphones! We’re looking forward to our next silent disco which will have a reggae theme and will be perfect to get us all warmed up during the snowy winter!”
