Residents at Bonnyrigg Care Home Enjoy MP Visit
HC-One Scotland’s Springfield Bank Care Home in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, was visited on Thursday 12th December by MP for Midlothian, Kirsty McNeill for the home’s Christmas Jumper Day festivities.
Residents and colleagues of the HC-One Scotland owned care home enjoyed meeting MP Kirsty McNeill and chatting to her about what life is like at Springfield Bank Care Home – which is an integral part of the local Bonnyrigg community.
MP Kirsty McNeill enjoyed a tour round the 70 bedded nursing and nursing dementia care home, including the hair salon, café, lounge, garden, and ensuite bedrooms.
Janice Baillie, Deputy Home Manager at HC-One Scotland’s Springfield Bank Care Home, commented:
“We were delighted to welcome MP Kirsty McNeill to our home. Everyone had a great time, chatting and discussing key issues they care about and what actions can be taken to overcome them.”
MP for Midlothian, Kirsty McNeill, stated: “It was fantastic to spend time with the residents and staff of Springfield Bank Care Home and see firsthand the warm and welcoming environment which the Springfield Bank team are dedicated to providing. I’m very grateful to them for hosting me.
“It was also brilliant to have the chance to join in with Springfield Bank’s Christmas Jumper Day activities. It’s a privilege to join folk across Midlothian to put on my favourite festive jumper and help raise money for Save the Children.”
