A stellar array of top name speakers has now been finalised for the Care England 2018 conference & exhibition, ‘Logging On’, which will take place at Church House, Westminster, on Wednesday, 14 November. The overall conference theme is the role of data and technology in providing quality care, but the remit of the speakers will certainly add an extra dimension to the programme.

Care Minister to deliver keynote presentation

Opening the event will be Caroline Dinenage MP, Minister of State at the Department of Health and Social Care, who will deliver a keynote presentation on the Government’s current strategy on long term social care. Next on the podium will be Dr Claire Royston, Group Medical Director, Four Seasons Health Care, whose presentation, ‘Developing Values Based technology – focusing on using technology to help colleagues to get care right’, will allow her to share with delegates the experience of a leading national care provider.

Ian Trenholm, Chief Executive, CQC, to share his vision

Recently appointed as Chief Executive of the CQC, Ian Trenholm, has also agreed to address the conference and will give delegates his vision for the future regulation of the sector. Completing the speaker line-up will be Alyson Scurfield, Chief Executive, Telecare Services Association, and James Palmer, Programme Head, NHS Digital Social Care Programme, who will both deliver practical insights into the power of technology for delivering quality care.

Embrace IT and shape the future

Professor Martin Green OBE Chief Executive of Care England says:

“Logging On promises to be one of our best ever conferences with an abundance of top name speakers sharing their views. There are many challenges facing the social care sector, but adopting a positive attitude to change and embracing new technological advances can help to ensure the future of quality care. I would encourage all providers, not just Care England members, to attend this event which also features an exhibition and seminars from leading sector product and service suppliers”.

Delegate places can be booked online and further information is available from www.careengland.org.uk  or by emailing conference@careengland.org.uk.
