Pip And Pup Are A Christmas Hit At Bridgnorth Nursing Home

Britain’s Got Talent entertainers Pip and Pup were a big hit at a Bridgnorth nursing home’s Christmas party.

Singer Pippa Langhorne and her dog Buddy, who howls along to the songs, were special guests at Morris Care’s Oldbury Grange Nursing Home. The two were former semi-finalists on the TV talent show and their festive appearance certainly got the votes of residents and staff.

Pippa sang a selection of songs with props to encourage everyone to join in the actions and singalong and Buddy made a host of new friends.

Social Life Co-ordinator Mandy Bullock said: “We hold engaging and memorable activities all year round to help residents socialise, promote their self-confidence and help them reminisce too. Christmas is a special time so we look to hold special celebrations.

“Our residents were delighted with Pip and Pup who certainly provided great entertainment.”

Inspectors from the Care Quality Commission gave the Home a ‘good’ rating after visiting in November. They found staff were kind and caring and residents were supported to access activities so that they did not feel socially isolated.
